Feeling the 1950's vibe.

I just love the stylized animations produced during the 1950's. The stuff they did back then feels so jazzy! I came up with this illustration over the weekend. I think I used no more than two or three colors in the end, just pushing the design further using various tones.

    Hi Wendy! Thanks! It was a fun little experiment. I discovered I like working with a limited color palette, it seems to bring everything really together!

    That is SO cool! I am old enough that the style makes me feel 'at home,' like I'm a kid again, happily reading comics and watching cartoons.
